Flein Blaufränkisch [non-alcoholic]
Flein Blaufränkisch [non-alcoholic]
Michael Gross (Vino Gross)
It’s definitely not wine, but it is delicious. While alcohol-removed wines have gained popularity, we still feel like there’s something about them that just doesn’t showcase the grape or the place very well. This project by Slovenian and Austrian winemakers (started by the Gross sisters, who are both married to winemakers — very on brand) aims to find a new way to use their high-quality grapes to make genuinely delicious beverages instead. Think cranberry, pomegranate, and black elderberry. On the palate, cherry and sour cherry dance between sweet and tart, with vibrant freshness adding plenty of lift.
We love it with… 🍔🍕🧆
