Limited Addition Pinot Meunier

Meunier is the cool-climate Pinot that majors in lift, crunch, and drinkability. Typcially sitting lighter than Pinot Noir, with brighter acidity, softer tannin, and very ntoiceable purple quality (like violet flowers, red skinned plums) and a hint of spice. Pinot Meunier is part of the Pinot family, closely related to Pinot Noir (and historically entangled with Pinot Gris/Blanc through mutation). The “Meunier” names comes from the fine white hairs on the underside of its leaves, which look like flour dusted by a miller (meunier in French), these dusted leaves make it distinctive in the vineyard.
