Erica’s journey into winemaking quite literally starts with, “So two women walked into a bar…”
While living in San Francisco, studying biochemistry, and working as a lab tech, Erica crossed paths with Aaron Potts, who told her that being a winemaker was the best job in the world. In 1998, she worked her first vintage in Napa before studying at UC Davis and heading around the world to work harvests with famed producers like Domaine Dujac, Corison, Matthews, and more.

Stillwater and Lawrence vineyards; destemmed, fermented in open top bins. 10 days on skins before pressing to neutral French oak barrels. Aged 10
months. The two vineyard lots were blended together in tank after elevage and bottled without fining or filtration.
