Leiner HANDWERK Spätburgunder
Leiner HANDWERK Spätburgunder
Weingut Leiner
Leiner is a great example of Germany’s new generation of growers. They are pushing the boundaries of ecologically minded, terroir-driven winemaking in areas traditionally worked for high yields. Certified biodynamic since 2011, the Leiner family has long prioritized farming first, using minimal intervention practices to craft crisp and refreshing whites and reds. 'Handwerk' is their entry level Spätburgunder grown in a mix of bundsandstein and alluvial soils. It's fresh and fancy-free with red cherry and strawberry notes.
